As Associate Vice Chancellor for UCI Health Advancement, Caroline leads the advancement activities for UCI Health Affairs, encompassing UCI Health and the Susan & Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences. Caroline is a seasoned fundraising professional with over 20 years’ experience, most of which has been focused in academia and healthcare.

Prior to this position, Caroline served as executive director of development in cancer programs and led the most successful fundraising year on record for cancer in FY 2018. In 2020, her team raised over $20 million for the UCI Health – Irvine medical complex, one of the largest priorities in the Brilliant Future campaign. Before coming to UC Irvine, Caroline served as senior director of development for the University of Toronto in Canada where she successfully led principal and major gift fundraising for various key departments in the School of Medicine.
