As assistant vice chancellor for strategic philanthropy, Roland Ho works in collaboration with university supporters and staff to achieve their desired philanthropic impact.
Roland has a background in planned giving and believes that careful planning is important for all gifts. Over the last decade, Roland has assisted countless individuals in maximizing the impact of their philanthropic vision, providing over $435 million dollars in planned and differed support of higher education.
Prior to joining UCI, Roland worked at the Orange County Community Foundation for 10 years. Roland holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from UCI. Through the California State University Long Beach Foundation, Roland also became a certified specialist in planned giving.
